Microscopic Analyses

The Avalon Institute offers the following microscopic analyses:

• Microscopic analyses of surface and ground water samples for assessing biological assemblages of micro-organisms (phytoplankton, cyanobacteria, protozoans, meio- and multi-cellular micro-organisms);
• Microscopic analyses of activated sludge from sewage treatment plants for assessing biological assemblages and sludge quality; and
• Special microscopic analyses (including taxonomic identification of quaternary foraminifera).

We only conduct microscopic analyses on live samples.
