About Us

The Avalon Institute of Applied Science was established in 1999 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as a successor to Anamet Scientific Services Ltd. in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Avalon Institute is based in Winnipeg and has built up a network of specialists from all around the world. All of the specialists in our network have a long history of successfully completed projects. 

Most of our specialists work as professors at universities. Thus, the Avalon Institute can employ a broad range of specialists, assuring competent and cost-effective services.

Our staff is diverse and multilingual.

We particularly have experience with projects from Eastern Europe.

For more than 15 years, the Avalon Institute has maintained a strong relationship with Osorno Enterprises Inc. Sharing office and laboratory space has led to a friendly takeover of the Avalon Institute by Osorno in 2012. Since then, the Avalon Institute has formally become Osorno’s science division.

Our services range from a sample core analysis or water assessment study to extensive research and development (R&D) projects. Although we take on complex research projects, we can work on ongoing geological, biological, microbiological, or environmental research projects and provide highly qualified data analysis and interpretation.
